The Fall Bridal Bash planning is already started. We started four years ago with a small show and look forward to building
this event up to be the areas premier wedding services show this fall. We are set for September 26th 2012. Anyone

A Wedding To Remember
The Springfield Local Favorites would like to grant A Wedding To Remember to a local couple facing terminal
illness that normally couldn't afford it by themselves. It's hard to imagine how these couples manage through these
difficult times and on top of that plan a wedding.
We have joined forces with all the members in SLF to create A Wedding To Remember for one couple. From
a venue and caterer to a DJ and a photographer we have it covered.
If you, or anyone you know deserve A Wedding To Remember please contact Stephanie Elder, Vice
President of SLF at Board@SpringfieldLocalFavorites.com to obtain information. We will be doing this annually so
you may also nominate for next year. There is a screening and application process. No one person can or will
make this decision. You must be willing to have medical condition verified by your doctor. A Wedding To
Remember will not cover the ring, honeymoon or alcohol. Other restrictions and conditions may apply. Contact the
Board for more information.
Leaving Hoofprints
This is a ministry based mission for the SLF. We are working to show our support for a program that is designed
to help kids and rescue horses from terrible conditions. With the help of many others we all can make a huge
impact on your persons lives and save them from a path of destruction. The horses are rescued and brought here
to be cared for and enjoyed properly. Bathed, groomed and saddled for you to ride by a young person in our
community that just needs focus and purpose in life. When you are responsible for the care of another, a horse or
a job you will grow and mature. Pray with us as we try to give back and help kids.
