- Operate my business in an ethically sound manner while maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.
- Abide by all laws and regulations governing my professional activities.
- Be honest and realistic conveying talents, skills, abilities and level of services to my clients.
- Deliver products and services to my clients, as promised, to the best of my abilities.
- Use a written contract clearly stating all charges, services, products, performance expectations and other essential information.
- Provide a safe work environment with adequate protection for my clients & their guests.
- Maintain adequate and appropriate insurance coverage for all business activities.
- Do not take kickbacks from other vendors. Our incentive to refer is based upon a job well done and not money.
- Refer other members when possible. Help others build and grow their business.
- Do not lie or deceive clients, tell the whole truth and not only what is directly asked of you.

SLF Membership Agreement:
Member must have or provide:
A total of 4 references, two wedding and two non wedding, if you service both. References must be within the last 6 months.
A letter of recommendation from a member in good standing (A sponsor).
A letter explaining what you have to offer the group and what you expect from the group.
A signed Code of Conduct, updated yearly.
Mandatory attendance to all of the regular monthly meetings. Make a year commitment. Two hours once a month.
Be a team player and pass clients names to other members to help build their business.
A working website with a reciprocal link back to the SLF. Or have a SLF in store display in a prominent position. Position determined by President/
board.
If you have a problem with another member, talk to them first. Then contact the President / Board in writing.
Participate in the Fall Bridal Bash and the Spring event (additional fees will apply).
Provide a copy of your written contract and proof of liability insurance to the SLF.
Pay a $200 annual fee for membership. Checks are made payable to Springfield Local Favorites. Fee is non refundable.
Membership may be terminated without notice for any violation/ reason by the President and / or board.
All materials with the SLF name, logo, trademark, etc. must be returned upon termination.
Any and all use of the SLF logo must cease upon termination from SLF.
All information will be kept confidential by all members at all times, unless given written permission by the President/ board.
Membership is not transferable.
All content, materials, terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
Membership should not be viewed as an investment and does not include ownership rights.
Persons purchasing a membership should not expect to derive any economic benefit from their membership fee.

Membership gives the member the privilege of being listed on the site and opportunity to participate in meetings and events. Membership also
gives the opportunity to network with other members but does not guarantee any exclusive rights to other member’s client list.
